After a tough jiu-jitsu competition, I sustained a knee injury and struggled to find a knee brace that truly met my needs. Most available options were either low quality, overpriced, slipped down during training, or caused painful rashes behind the knee. I knew there had to be a better way — gear that offers real, reliable support without compromise.
Driven by this experience, I set out to create Ursaguard: a brand born from a genuine love of combat sports and a commitment to solving the problems that athletes face every day.
But Ursaguard is more than just quality gear. We believe in giving back — supporting charitable causes and uplifting the people who dedicate their lives to building and strengthening our community.
Our mission is to equip fighters, grapplers, and warriors with protective gear that works as hard as they do, while making a positive impact beyond the mats and rings.
